🎓 Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation for Graduate Students

🙋‍♂️ My Story

Hi! I’m Dogukan. I’m an Education Ph.D. student at UCSB and a trainee in the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training Program (MMTCP).

I have been meditating since 2012, attended several retreats (in Wales and England) and classes. My journey has been a rewarding one. In 2023, I started MMTCP to deepen my practice and to share my learnings with others.

During this process, I have noticed how mindfulness helps me both as a scholar and as a student with a family. From dealing with challenges like impostor syndrome, financial or familial stress to finding meaning in my scholarly work, I have benefited greatly from these teachings.

Hence, I designed this class to share what I have learned, and to build a community helping each other develop these inner resources.

The MMTCP requires two practicums to complete the program. This course is my first practicum, and I would love for you to join me on this adventure.
